Position Summary:

The Fine Dining Chef will be responsible for creating and executing exceptional dishes that align with the restaurant’s high standards. This role requires a commitment to culinary excellence, a creative approach to menu development, and an ability to lead the kitchen team to provide guests with a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sophisticated menu that highlights innovative, high-quality dishes.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and strict adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Source and select premium ingredients, working with local and international suppliers.
  • Train, mentor, and lead a team of kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
  • Manage food costs and inventory to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with  management on menu changes, seasonal specials, and event catering needs.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a 5 star fine dining or gourmet restaurants.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, plating, and food presentation.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
